Stunning and totally Unique!

So, I ordered samples of all Soki's perfumes minus Cleopatra, and here's my take on Aphrodite. I tested them on my neck and wrist simultaneously during late Summer (in Portuguese weather), both indoors and outdoors.
I really liked how the samples came in bottles with atomizers as opposed to dabbers to make the application smoother. I already suspected that Aphrodite would be my favorite, and upon the initial spray, that suspicion was confirmed immediately! The mango shows up from the very first second and stays throughout the entire wear time.
It's fruity and juicy but not super sweet (at least to my nose), and it makes a great pairing with the green and aquatic notes.

I must say that Aphrodite is far more refined than I anticipated, don't ask me why. I guess in my mind, I assumed it would be something like an Escada perfume (casual with warm heart notes), but thankfully, it quickly develops into a refined scent that remains delightfully breezy (more like Elie Saab Resort).
A lot of people have described it as a cocktail at the beach, which is definitely enticing, but doesn't do justice to the elegance that the scent has. In my skin, the coconut is almost unnoticeable, I can tell that its creaminess helps carry the perfume for hours - but then again, that so happens to fit my preference all the better. Every note is beautifully blended, and I could always smell it on me in different environments during an afternoon out, which was great!
Aphrodite is definitely my favorite scent of Soki London, and I will purchase a full bottle once Summer is around the corner!

Holidays in a bottle

This perfume opens with a lovely fizzy mango and play note (which reads pineapple to me), supported by a coconut base. You end up smelling like a refined pina colada (in a good way). I've not found another coconut based perfume with such longevity. Definitely one to pick up in the future.

Beautiful scents

Sampled both. Both lovely scents and like them for different reasons. My personal fave is Empress which surprised me. They lasted all day on my skin and are unique from other scents I have tried.

Aphrodite sample

Sophie recommended I try her Aphrodite perfume as it's similar to another fragrance I like. Really like Aphrodite, it's quite soft, creamy and cosy scent, lasts for ages too. Will definitely order a bottle in time for the summer. Thanks Sophie!

My favourite from Soki so far

I don't get any mango in my current climate, perhaps that will change in warmer weather, but even without it, I really love this. Fresh coconut, just lightly sweet, and beach palm trees. The best out of Soki's 3 creations so far for me personally, but I am a sucker for coconut.
