I thought that maybe the orange notes would be too much. But I was very pleasantly surprised! This new fragrance is so uplifting, sensuous and warm! The orange is certainly there, but it is a fresh scent. Not candy like at all. The floral mid notes are enhanced by the fresh orange fragrance. Then you notice a gorgeous warmth from the amber, vanilla and sandalwood notes! It lasts forever and I will wear this fragrance all year long!! Another irresistible creation from Soki!!
I’m rather fond of anything with orange in it—I simply adore that bright, citrusy scent. I had a feeling I would enjoy this fragrance, and I’m pleased to say I wasn’t mistaken. I ordered a sample, and what arrived is reminiscent of a sweet, creamy, and almost “warm” orange gelato—if such a thing can be imagined.
It strikes me as a perfect choice for the coming season—comforting, uplifting, and absolutely mouth-watering. The scent is impressively strong, with excellent longevity and projection. Wonderfully done, Soki!
I think calling this a citrus creation is slightley missguiding. Yes, there's a citric opening, but this is, for me, more about the heart of the perfume, a heady, heavenly concoction of white florals, and a sweet, ambery base with a slight cottony musky feel about it. I find it very sensual, confident and strong, but also very "classic", almost old fashioned. In me it dries to the exact same as L'Interdit. That's the vibe it gives, a very classy, yet sensual and alluring, powerful scent. I think someone called it "maternal", I'd say perhaps they get that classic vibe about it, or perhaps a cottony, floaty cleanliness note in its base. I absolutely love it. There is a couple of buts for me...it reminds me too much of L'Interdit as it settles, and I already have a bottle of L'Interdit, and second...my goodness this is BEAST mode. Not for work!. You can smell it outside the room and it stays for 24 hours. Really. Everybody likes it, but I work in a hospital and I'm not meant to wear something as strong...so I'll be getting a 15 ml vial for "date night". I don't want to be patronising to Soki, but how on earth did she pull this one off??? It's such a good, solid perfume. It feels like it's done by Olivier Polge, Alberto Morillas or one of the great perfumers out there.
I absolutely love this scent. I’m a huge fan of Empress and have always found it hard to beat, but Cleopatra comes very close! The initial spray has a gorgeous burst of citrus that’s so refreshing, and as it dries down, the orange notes linger while the fragrance becomes warm and sweet. The longevity, as with all of Soki’s perfumes, is fantastic — this really is a scent that lasts. Overall, it’s a beautiful fragrance that makes a bold statement and is sure to earn plenty of compliments. Congratulations, Soki, on another wonderful creation!
Another amazing perfume from Soki. Cleopatra has a beautiful citrus opening which is very nostalgic for me and reminds me of being on holiday. The dry down with the amber is so gorgeous. The longevity is amazing as well. I will be ordering a bottle of this. 5 stars❤️🤩
