I love this perfume. I wear it every day. I find it elegant and soft, just as I like perfume to be. Usually I go for Dior perfumes, but I am also a fan to this perfume.
I would describe this as quite a sweet floral. It's nice, and I'm looking forward to wearing in in Autumn, Winter! The main notes I get are floral with quite a warmth to it. I'm not getting overpowering patchouli at all, nor does it smell too earthy to me. For my scent profile, I may try to later this with something slightly fresh and unisex or masculine.
I bought the travel size of Empress blind rather than the £5 sample, as I had high hopes for the fragrance after watching the reviews. The notes are wonderful, but after drying down and several hours later, the fragrance was barely noticeable and definitely didn't last the 6/7 hours some reviewers quoted. I'm wondering if perhaps the batch for my travel size was not up to the normal standards, but having never used it before, I can't compare. Such a shame, I so wanted to love this.
The scent smelled like it was an old stock. Didn't feel fresh and not enjoying the scent
Was absolutely not a fan of Empress, had high hopes for this perfume but the patchouli is just way too overpowering and earthy/dirty and spicy, really wish I could smell the other notes. Very disappointed.🥺
